Books n Sermons Review 7.31.10

I have started reading the book Living the Cross Centered Life: Keeping the Gospel the Main Thing, by CJ Mahaney Chap one is: Why the cross should define our lives. I need to be reminded of the cross everyday so that I can live a cross centered life. The sermons I have been listening to with Rick for the best 3 weeks are by Albert Martin How Not to Foul Up the Training of Our Children. This series is 40 downloads and so far we have been encouraged, rebuked, and instructed by them So thankful to God for giving us his word and godly men to teach from it. Sermon audio has more of his sermons even a podcast.

Wags Trip 7.30.10

I had a two great trips a Walgreens this week and saved more than expected. My first transaction was 3.97oop and got a $3.00RR for next week.

Then came home to clip additional coupons for friends and found the Manufacture Coupon for Command $1.50. Now I went back to get free command hooks. I just paid tax .69cents!!!

What a blessing, I don't need all these hooks but I'll be happy to gift them.

Books n Sermons Review

Every week I'm going to highlight a book n sermons that was edifying to me. With the hopes that it will be the same for you. I finally finished the book Passionate Housewife Desperate for God by Jennie Chancey and Stacy McDonald. I will re-read this book again and again. It was filled with encouragement and instruction from God's word. Also we are preparing ourselves for homeschooling this Fall:) I listened to various of free audios from The Bluedorns here is there website. http://www.triviumpursuit.com/ My favorite was: The Seven Undeniable Truths of Homeschooling. Go and listen for yourself because we know there will be opposition from the family and we want to answer them from God's word not our own wisdom!

We needed milk and coffee so I went CVS to use my ECBS. Here is how it went:

Again Praise the lord for a smooth shopping trip. The Cashier was a new employee and called the manager over to make sure it was okay to scan the BOGO sobe life water coupons. He learned his first coupon lesson from my transaction. The store CVS pays for one bottle and the MQ reimburses the store for the other bottle:)

Overall This was a great trip praise God having everything in stock really helped make these transactions smooth. What made it not smooth was locking my keys in the car. When skipping to car with joy I found no keys in my pocket and still in the car. Rick had to come to my rescue, and he did laughing at me:)
